Tucker Carlson Books has announced a title that reads Peace Is the Only Final Solution for Jews, with a foreword by Tucker Carlson on the cover. It publishes Nov. 17, and Simon & Schuster is the distributor.
The phrase “Final Solution” has one meaning in Jewish history. It is the Nazi plan to murder every Jew in Europe, and a publisher who prints it next to the word “Jews” knows exactly what he is doing.
I tagged Carlson on X on Tuesday night, letting him know that writing the foreword may be the most sickening thing I have ever heard an American journalist say or do. And that was before I even learned more about the author and that Carlson himself was the publisher.
The author is Avraham “Avrum” Burg, a former Knesset speaker and briefly interim president of Israel. Carlson’s imprint is a joint venture with Skyhorse Publishing, and Simon & Schuster distributes Skyhorse. The book is unreleased, so I have read only the cover, the publisher’s description, and Burg’s earlier published words. They tell you all you need to know about what is very likely to be a revolting book.
Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover.
This one names Jews. And “Israel” appears nowhere in the title. For years, Carlson has spoken of “Israel,” “Netanyahu,” and “neocons” when his critics say he really meant Jews.
The ADL’s backgrounder documents Carlson’s record. The shift in language and the timing right before one of the most consequential midterm elections of our time are so dramatic, and so finally and fully revealing, that one must wonder whether this was carefully orchestrated, planned, and timed from the very beginning of Tucker’s downward spiral.
Millions of Americans will pass this title in bookstores and online without ever opening it, and what they will read is “Final Solution for Jews.” The children and grandchildren of survivors will read it too, and it is my belief that Carlson and his publisher put those words in front of them on purpose.
Burg’s ideology is very much on the record, and it is clear why Tucker Carlson Books chose him to launch Tucker’s coming out party where he replaces attacks on Israel with what looks to be an attack on Jews.
On his Substack in July 2025, Burg wrote that “the ultra-Orthodox have become the Shylocks of greed,” invoking the oldest stereotype about Jews and money. In the same essay he asked whether the State of Israel “no longer deserves to exist.”
In 2021, Burg told Haaretz he would ask an Israeli court to erase “Jewish” from his public registration, describing being a Jew as belonging to “the group of the masters.” In August 2026, in an essay attacking AIPAC, he urged readers to “save American Jewry from the networks of money, the paranoia, and the addiction to war.” Once again, the Jews and money trope. Every Algemeiner reader has seen money and paranoia attached to Jews before.
In a 2009 Der Spiegel interview, the interviewer reminded Burg that he had likened Israel to the last days of Weimar Germany and asked what separates the Nazi cry of “Juden raus” from Israelis yelling “Arabs get out.” Burg’s answer did not dispute the comparison.
Evil and morally bankrupt as I believe he most assuredly is, Burg seems like just the latest useful patsy in a bigger, broader, and very dangerous game.
Three parties must answer for this situation:
First, Simon & Schuster. It chose to carry this title to bookstores across America. It should tell its Jewish employees and readers why it will put “Final Solution for Jews” on its trucks, and it should drop the distribution.
Second, Carlson. He wrote the foreword, and the imprint carries his name. He owes the grandchildren of survivors an explanation of what he thought “Final Solution for Jews” would mean to them.
Third, Vice President JD Vance. Vance has called Carlson a friend and said that “friends disagree.” I asked him publicly Tuesday night on X to finally condemn Carlson and this book. This shouldn’t be a tough call.
Enough is enough. Carlson has had great fun targeting Jews and putting us in danger for far too long, and the bill has come due. Every Jewish and conservative organization that has stayed quiet about him should say on the record that “Final Solution” has no place on a book cover and that Tucker Carlson has no place in politics or the party.
